The Truth of Dubrovnik Pass

Only there for 1 or 2 nights?

Many visitors ask themselves whether if they only plan on staying 24 or 48 hours in the Old Town should they purchase Dubrovnik Pass (used to called Dubrovnik Card). That depends entirely on what activities are on their itinerary. If walking the city wall is on your itinerary, then the answer is YES. It will pay for itself because it is the same price as the city wall entry ticket alone. The Pass includes free entry to a number of museums and attractions, such as the City Walls, the Maritime Museum, the Rector’s Museum, and more (full list below). The pass also included Free Public Transport if you plan on taking city buses. It also offers discounts on many restaurants (see list below). There are also many discounts on excursions and trips to the natural and cultural treasures as well as some shops. (see below).

Where to get the tickets?

To avoid lines at the local ticket office, my advice is to purchase an official online store and download digital passes directly onto your smartphone – they will activate automatically the first time they are used. It does not come with a 90+ page tourist guide anymore. All information is posted on their website.

What is included in Dubrovnik Pass?
